Decision console

Keep, check V2, or reroll

Make the next gameplay task decide the roll. Rarity alone is not a reason to burn a useful race.

KEEP

Use the value you already have

Your current race already fixes the movement, water, sustain, or build problem in front of you.

CHECK V2

Upgrade before replacing

The base race fits, but its next meaningful upgrade is locked behind Race V2 progress.

REROLL

Spend Spins with a stop rule

The race does not support your next task, your target is specific, and you can afford a failed roll.

Seven race signals

Match the race to a job

Use each card as a stop rule. The role tells you what the race solves; the keep and reroll lines tell you when that value changes.

Human

Common

Emergency movement

Listed spin rate: 55%

V1
+25% Walk Speed below 70% HP
V2
+50% Walk Speed below 70% HP · +1 Observation Dodge
Keep when
You want a simple low-health escape boost and an extra Observation dodge after V2.
Reroll when
Your next route needs constant movement, water safety, sustain, or a specialized endgame passive.

Beastborn

Uncommon

Speed and stamina

Listed spin rate: 11.6667%

V1
+20% Walk Speed · +5% Stamina
V2
+50% Walk Speed · +10% Stamina
Keep when
You value always-on walk speed and stamina for quest loops, travel, and active combat.
Reroll when
Movement is already solved and your build needs water immunity, sustain, or a rarer late-game passive.

Skyborn

Uncommon

Air mobility

Listed spin rate: 11.6667%

V1
+50% boost to the first Sky Walk
V2
Glide: hold Space to cut falling speed by about half · First Sky Walk strength increases to 2x
Keep when
Air routes, Sky Walk strength, and glide comfort save time in your current progression loop.
Reroll when
Your route stays mostly on the ground and another utility would affect more of your play session.

Fishborn

Uncommon

Water travel

Listed spin rate: 11.6667%

V1
+50% Swim Speed
V2
Swim Speed 2x · +100% Walk Speed for 4 seconds after leaving water
Keep when
You cross water often, use a Fruit, or want safer Sea Beast and island travel after V2.
Reroll when
Your current grind is land-based and water utility rarely changes the outcome.

Demon

Rare

Combat sustain

Listed spin rate: 8.9%

V1
2.5% Lifesteal
V2
3% Lifesteal · 10% chance to summon a Hellfire Circle on Dash
Keep when
Long boss fights or sustained combat make lifesteal more valuable than faster travel.
Reroll when
Fights end quickly and movement, water safety, or a different endgame route matters more.

Dragonborn

Legendary

Durability and glide

Listed spin rate: 1%

V1
+10% Max HP · +10% HP Regeneration
V2
+20% Max HP · +10% HP Regeneration
Keep when
You want health, regeneration, and V2 mobility for durable PvE or mixed builds.
Reroll when
Only reroll when you are deliberately chasing a different rare passive and can absorb the downgrade risk.

D. Clan

Mythical

High-investment build

Listed spin rate: 0.1%

V1
+5% Health · +5% Stamina
V2
+10% Health · +10% Stamina
Keep when
You want its health, stamina, and Conqueror-focused route; it is already the rare target most players chase.
Reroll when
Do not casually reroll it. Change only for a deliberate test on an account where losing it is acceptable.

Spend with a stop rule

Reroll without wasting Spins

A reroll plan needs a target and an exit. Without both, every result looks temporary.

  1. 01Name the next task: travel, water, bosses, PvP, or Race V2.
  2. 02Check whether the current race already removes the biggest friction.
  3. 03Open the simulator and set a Spin budget before replacing anything.
  4. 04Stop when the new race solves the task or the budget reaches zero.

Failure recovery

Fix a bad reroll plan

Use the symptom to find the missing decision, then take one recoverable next action.

Every result feels bad

Likely cause
The reroll target is only 'something rarer.'
How to check
Can you name one ability the new race must add?
Next action
Keep the current race and decide the next build task first.

You run out of Spins

Likely cause
No Spin budget or stop rule.
How to check
How many failed results can you accept today?
Next action
Open Codes, claim checked rewards, then set a hard Spin limit in the simulator.

The race feels incomplete

Likely cause
The race is being judged before its V2 utility is available.
How to check
Are level, Sea Beast, chests, Zenith, Beli, and Gems complete?
Next action
Keep the race and complete the V2 checklist before replacing it.

Race decisions

Questions to answer before you spend Spins

What is the best Haze Seas race?

There is no single best race for every stage. Beastborn and Skyborn help movement, Fishborn solves water routes, Demon and Dragonborn support longer fights, and D. Clan is a rare high-investment route.

Should I reroll Human immediately?

Not automatically. Human still provides a low-health movement escape and gains an Observation dodge in V2. Keep it until you can name a utility that would change the next task.

Is D. Clan guaranteed after a fixed number of spins?

No. A listed probability describes each roll, not a guaranteed pity point. Use the simulator to understand cost and variance, then set a hard stop before spending Spins in game.

Should I finish Race V2 before rerolling?

Finish V2 first when the base race already fits your build and the upgrade adds the missing utility. Reroll earlier only when the race does not support the route at all.
